Today I learned not to bite off more than I could chew. And that I should:
(1) Plan a painting with value sketches, in addition to line drawings.
(2) Think carefully about my points of interest
(3) Not paint banisters, foliages on the same layer as the backgrounds (which makes adjusting the background an absolute nightmare)
(4) Not add details unless I'm sure I'm satisfied with the composition
Overall I think the values are fine but the shapes are definately not interesting, and are arranged in a confusing mess. So I did not polish this one. Sorry if you clicked a picture that only looks good on thumbnail.
