King Thingol's loremaster and minstrel, Daeron, holds a concert for his friends at the court of Menegroth
I've been meaning to paint this, or something like it, that showed off the grandeur and opulence of the kingdom of Doriath. So I present it in this state, before I add more poorly judged brushstrokes.
This wonderful piece of music by Vangelis was on a loop, for many hours as I worked.
